PFBC publishes a full-season schedule in advance, searchable by county on FishandBoat.com, listing waters alphabetically with stocking dates, volunteer meeting locations and species. The agency's own note: "Dates provided are subject to change. There are also usually a few last minute stockings."

We can't publish today's stocking as a fact on this page — PFBC doesn't offer a feed we can read live, so any date we printed here could go stale or wrong. This is the fastest real answer:

Stocking began the week of February 16, 2026. Mentored Youth Trout Day ran statewide on March 28, 2026. Opening Day of trout season was April 4, 2026.

What we left out on purpose
- The interactive schedule tool at fbweb.pa.gov/TroutStocking didn't return data to an automated read, so we can't reproduce individual water/date rows here and keep them honest — use the tool directly for a specific stream.
