How long your money lasts
ODWC counts days rather than calendar years: the annual licences run "365 Days" from purchase and the one-day licence covers a day of your choosing, expiring at midnight. The Lake Texoma licence is the exception and runs January 1 to December 31.
What we could not pin down
Rather than fill these in from somewhere else, they stay open until ODWC states them plainly.
- ODWC names its Free Fishing Days on the fishing pages but gave no 2026 dates on anything read at retrieval — its news items about them are from earlier years. The rule stands here without a date rather than a date worked out from the pattern.
- The fee table marks most licences as available from 18, which lines up with the licence requirement starting at 18. Whether a 16-year-old may buy one voluntarily is not addressed.
- The Lake Texoma licence is honoured by both Oklahoma and Texas on that reservoir, but the pages read do not spell out what it covers on the Texas side.
- ODWC lists further specialty licences, including a five-year combination and various lifetime products, which are only partly reproduced here.
