How long it lasts
NDOW sells the adult licence as an annual one and the day permit for the days it names. The prices below are NDOW's own, before the small processing fee the department adds at checkout.
Who doesn't need one
- Children under 12 — NDOW sells no licence below that age
NDOW words the age rule this way: NDOW's price list splits its licences by age: the adult fishing licence covers "ages 18 & older" and the youth combination covers "ages 12-17". Below 12 no licence is sold, so a licence becomes necessary at 12.
