Wyoming · Fishing license · Cost

How much is a fishing license in Wyoming?

$27 a year if you live here, $92 if you don't. An annual licence needs the 21.50 conservation stamp on top; daily licences do not.

Just passing through? Daily fishing costs $14 — the annual pays for itself from about 7 of those.

Fees inside the price

The conservation stamp at 21.50 is compulsory with an annual licence and adds most of a second licence fee for residents. Daily licences are exempt from it, so a few days on the water can cost far less than a year.

How long your money lasts

WGFD sells the annual licence as a 12-month one. The daily licence covers the days it names — and, unlike the annual one, needs no conservation stamp.
