Can you keep a trout, kokanee salmon and arctic grayling (a combined total) in Utah?

Utah's flagship tailwater fishery, immediately below Flaming Gorge Dam - artificial flies and lures only, and closed to fishing from a boat with a motor between the Utah-Colorado state line and the dam. This same reach also carries a separate no-limit-but-must-not-release rule for channel catfish, burbot, northern pike, smallmouth bass and walleye; not modelled here since this site tracks trout at this water.

The site's tracked coordinate falls in this stretch (near Charleston/Midway), which carries no Provo-specific override and runs on the plain statewide default - a confirmed finding, since both neighboring reaches (Olmstead Diversion Dam to Deer Creek Dam downstream, and Legacy Bridge to Jordanelle Dam upstream) do carry their own stricter 2-trout-under-15-inches, artificial-flies-only rule.

What we left out on purpose

• Great Salt Lake's bass/crappie/catfish numbers are the plain statewide defaults, not a water-specific table - none exists for this lake in the guidebook. If UDWR ever publishes a dedicated Great Salt Lake fishery rule (e.g. for the marina, causeway borrow pits or nearby bays), this entry should be revisited.
• Utah's statewide 'possession limit' definition (two daily limits, fish stored anywhere except a permanent residence) is applied uniformly as the 2x multiplier for possessionLimit across all four species here; no water-specific possession override was found for either tracked stretch.
• The Green River's much longer 'Flaming Gorge Dam downriver to the confluence of the Colorado River' segment (no-limit-but-must-kill catfish/burbot/pike/bass/walleye) is not modelled - this site tracks the dam-adjacent A Section trout tailwater specifically, not the general river reach further downstream.
• Utah's community-fishery waters (2-fish combined limit, largemouth bass release encouraged) are a separate, smaller-water category and not modelled - neither Green River, Provo River nor Great Salt Lake is a community fishery.
